OM is the sound describing the infinite connection of life.
Saddhu Ram Giri put it as follows:
All water comes from a large sea.
The water evaporates and is then carried through clouds to all the parts of the Earth. When it rains, the water flows down from the mountains in little streams.
The streams find each other in large rivers and all flow out into the sea.
Here the process starts anew.
